Prior to beginning job as a CNA, students are typically needed to finish a physical exam that licenses they are healthy sufficient to do the obligations of a nursing aide. Furthermore, students will need to pass a TB test and show evidence of current booster shots prior to working with individuals.


A lot of states need nursing assistants to go through a criminal background check before beginning job. Some institutions or states will pay for these history checks on part of the trainees, and in other cases fingerprinting and history checks set you back the trainees around $20-$40. Each state requires nursing aides pass a qualification test in order to start functioning.


In enhancement to tuition some institutions may bill additional program fees, such as technology costs, lab costs or application charges.
